About Mental Health, Inclusion and Anti-Racism
Apoyo is a Spanish word that means support. Apoyo Courses was set up by Fabiola Doano to support organisations in creating healthier, more inclusive and people-centred workplaces.

At Apoyo Courses, we believe diverse teams perform better, are more profitable, and feel more engaged and loyal at work.
We deliver training that helps workplaces grow and people feel empowered in Mental Health First Aid, Race Ahead, and Diversity, Equity and Inclusion. Our courses provide practical knowledge and simple tools to help create fairer, kinder, and more inclusive spaces. This work is at the heart of everything we do, supporting personal growth while helping build a world where everyone can shine, no matter where they come from.

Who Am I?
I'm Fabiola Doano, a salsa dancing enthusiast originally from Peru. I love sunny days at the beach, exploring new places, and connecting with people from different cultures.

Before settling in the UK, I spent many years working on cruise ships and travelling the world. Those experiences shaped my curiosity, open-mindedness, and appreciation for people from all walks of life.
​
Spanish is my native language and, after more than 20 years in the UK, I'm proud to call Bristol home, where I live with my husband and our two children.
​
The values that guide both my life and work are kindness, belonging, inclusion, fairness, respect, and empathy. That's why I founded Apoyo Courses: to help create more inclusive, human-centred workplaces where everyone feels valued and has the opportunity to thrive.
